Photography found me through family.

Growing up surrounded by the warmth of Latino celebrations — weddings, quinceañeras, family gatherings full of music, emotion and color — I always felt those moments deserved to be remembered forever. It was a family member who first put a camera in my hands and showed me how to see the world through a lens. From that moment, I never looked back.

For over 12 years, I’ve had the privilege of documenting some of the most meaningful days in people’s lives. I don’t believe in stiff poses or forced smiles. My approach is documentary — I stay present, I stay quiet, and I capture what’s real: the nervous laugh before the ceremony, the proud tears of a parent, the pure joy of a quinceañera twirling in her dress.

I understand Latino celebrations from the inside. I’ve lived them. That’s why families throughout Orange County, Los Angeles and Southern California trust me to tell their story.
